Atlanta-based gaming lifestyle and esports organization Ghost Gaming is partnering with Corrective Chiropractic to provide services for their professional players and collegiate competitors across Georgia.
As part of the partnership, Corrective Chiropractic becomes the official chiropractic partner of both Ghost Gaming and the Georgia Esports League (GEL). GEL operates and broadcasts esports competitions between colleges and universities throughout the state of Georgia.
Earlier this year Ghost Gaming and GEL announced Piedmont as their official healthcare provider and this new partnership continues the Ghost Gaming initiative to level up health and wellness across the gaming community.
“Gamers sit for an extended period of time”, said Ghost Gaming CEO Todd Harris. “That sitting can result in damage to the body meaning short-term discomfort, or a long-term performance impacting injury. We’re excited to partner with Corrective Chiropractic to provide education and services that help gamers add movement, diagnosis and custom treatment when necessary so they can enjoy their gaming passion for life.”
For GEL college competitors, Corrective Chiropractic will provide free educational group activations regarding healthy gaming practices such as posture and exercise, and also provide discounted services to individuals.
“Our locations across the US focus on corrective care, which means we get to the root of a problem and help the body heal itself from damage endured from extended sitting, daily stress, exercise, or other.”, said Austin Cohen, Correct Chiropractic Founder & CEO. “Like Ghost Gaming, we are a Georgia-based company but with a national reach and so they are the perfect partner to help us reach and serve gamers in our home state and across the country.”
